Hyundai Tucson S Limited edition

testingmeih tucsons May 27, 2020

From the looks of things, the good folks over at Hyundai seem to have taken a lot of influence from the long, dark nights of winters when it comes to special editions of their vehicles. That is to say, Hyundai recently announced plans to unveils the all new, limited edition, 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night at the SEMA aftermarket trade show; and, the vehicle is quite gorgeous, to say the least.

Obviously the limited edition 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night takes the automaker’s ordinary Tucson Sport and expands on it from there. In other words, the Tucson Night adds a few things to the mix, some of them definitively “night” themed. These things include the likes of a set of 19-inch, black RAYs wheels with matching black lug nuts; a panoramic sunroof with dark-tinted glass, as well as gloss-black side mirror covers. Too, Hyundai also adds blacked-out trim pieces to the mix, making the limited edition 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night look like something out of a gorgeous, art house, horror movie.

Moving to the inside, Hyundai seems to have reigned in the “night”-themed features a bit, opting to go with the proven standard Tucson Sport interior. That is not to say, however, that the automaker did not add anything to the mix. No, the limited edition 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night has a few special interior features that include the likes of aluminum sports pedals, a perforated leather wrapped steering wheel, and LED map lights for both the front and rear of the vehicle. Too, Hyundai is offering four choices with regard to exterior paint on the 2017 Tucson Night: gray, blue, white, and black pearl. Now, as far as the standard Hyundai Tucson Sport goes, the vehicle features an I4 engine that pushes for about 175 horsepower and 195 pounds per square foot of torque that is coupled with a front wheel drive seven speed dual clutch transmission.

Hyundai has announced, too, that the limited edition 2017 Tucson Night will go on sale later this year. Of course, how much this thing is going to cost has not yet been made official, but seeing as the Tucson Sport stars at around $25,900, it is a pretty safe bet that the Night will run somewhere along the lines of Hyundai’s more top-tier Tucson Limited, which starts at around $29,775.
